#fitforthecause Challenge Supporting City Hospice a Success!

We are proud to announce Donna and Sarah have successfully completed their City Hospice steps challenge to raise crucial funds for City Hospice. Their joint fundraising efforts will pay for a day’s nursing care for a patient with a life-limiting illness.

City Hospice cares for patients across Cardiff managing their symptoms and offering essential support which means each person in their care can live their lives to the fullest, for as long as possible.

“One of my personal values is to support others wherever I possibly can. Being able to support the work of City Hospice is a privilege. I believe what we put in to life we get out; supporting other people and their families is extremely rewarding.

Hopefully our small contribution to support the superb work of City Hospice will inspire others to do the same. Sarah and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, we had fun!

More than ever, our society has an obligation to invest their time to improve the lives of others; take up a challenge and contact City Hospice”.

“It’s been a positive challenge for me in more than one way. Supporting this incredible charity has helped me to become more active during the pandemic and really focus on my own health and wellbeing. I am really proud to have raised a good amount to support City Hospice and I am already looking forward to signing up to my next challenge!”[/ezcol_2third_end]

Nicky Piper, Corporate Partnerships Manager for City Hospice said:

“Thank you to Donna and Sarah for fundraising for City Hospice. The hard work in completing 30km means they have raised enough to pay for a day’s nursing care from one of our specialist palliative care nurses.

The staff at n-ergy have been very creative with ideas to support City Hospice and we are extremely grateful to them.”
